It turns on perfectly fine. But then it goes to this black screen that says no connection. Could someone please tell me what I have done to my camera and what can I do to fix it? Its only about 9months old and has been broken for quite a while. Please someone help me,. I'm going to try attatch a picture of what the screen looks like when I turn it on. Not sure if its going to work. Thanks for youur help file:///C:/Users/Tanya/Desktop/110716-204635. Jpg The picture doesnt work . Well, I have your answer right here. Hi Lilly, Most Olympus cameras come with a 1 year warranty on PARTS & LABOR. You should find your sales receipt or proof of purchase and return the camera to the store or Olympus service center as soon as possible. Unless the camera was damaged by misuse, any repairs should be covered and the only cost to you will be the shipping to the repair center (the store may cover that cost if they handle the repair for you). However, BEFORE you do any of that be sure you do not have the computer connecting cable plugged into your camera and/or that the camera is not set in the mode to copy pictures or link to the computer. That would be one reason to get a "not connected message". Hope that helps. If you are in North America the following link may be helpful. .

Olympus Waterproof Camera Reviews

I have an Olympus 8010, I bought it last November 2010. I used it on a pool last week for the first time. After half an hour (out of the pool) I got the "No Connection" error. I Tried removing the battery for 3 days and it still didn't work. Can you help me out on how to fix this. After speaking to others on the web, I found the answer. A few potential reasons :- 1. You didn't connect the cable to your pc correctly.

2. Cable is faulty 3. Terminal at battery is faulty Try :- 1. Clean your camera in a bucket of fresh water and press all the buttons like stated in your manual (if you haven't done so) 2. Try other port on your pc. 3. Check if there's anything stuck at your terminal. 4. Turn your camera on and off, and remove the battery.

Underwater Camera And Housing

I was in Mexico last week and while snorkeling I saw guy with a tiny digital camera (without housing). It was very small and skinny (like the Sony T10). Does any know which camera this could be? I loved it because it doesn't require a separate housing. Thanks. Well, I have your answer right here. It's likely it's a recent Olympus model: the Stylus 770 SW, announced in January '07 (for availability "in March&quot. This is a 7. 1mp camera, with a ho-hum 3x zoom starting at 38mm, and 0. 8in thick. Nothing special except that: – it is waterproof to 10 meters (30ft) – it is shockproof for falls from up to 1. 5 metres (5ft) – it is crush proof for loads of up to 100 kilos (220 pounds) hope this helps
