Okay,, so. My Olympus Tough 3000 underwater camera is broken. I dont know how, I did not do anything to it. I never dropped it or anything. It turns on perfectly fine. But then it goes to this black screen that says no connection. Could someone please tell me what I have done to my camera and what can I do to fix it? Its only about 9months old and has been broken for quite a while. Please someone help me,. I'm going to try attatch a picture of what the screen looks like when I turn it on. Hi Lilly, Most Olympus cameras come with a 1 year warranty on PARTS & LABOR. You should find your sales receipt or proof of purchase and return the camera to the store or Olympus service center as soon as possible. Unless the camera was damaged by misuse, any repairs should be covered and the only cost to you will be the shipping to the repair center (the store may cover that cost if they handle the repair for you). However, BEFORE you do any of that be sure you do not have the computer connecting cable plugged into your camera and/or that the camera is not set in the mode to copy pictures or link to the computer. I'm going swimming tomorrow and really want to pick up an underwater camera pouch. . not the big thick plastic ones, the one that it looks like a bag, what store in canada could I find one? I tried japan camera (online) and best buy and wal-mart with no luck :/ I really want one without paying $300 for the plastic ones. Do you know what I found? I have an Olympus Stylus camera. It is the Stylus 550WP (waterproof) model and it won't turn on. I haven't dropped it, the rechargeable battery is fully charged, and it hooks up to my computer and downloads pictures fine. The orange light turns on, then flashes a couple of times and the camera turns off again. This doesn't seem to be a common problem for people because I have researched it and I haven't seen it come up online much. I have only had it for a couple of months but don't have the warranty or receipt and don't want buy another or pay to have it fixed because I got it as a gift and would like to try and fix it on my own.
